Canadian Auto Performance (CAP) is proud to introduce our Version 2 (V2) downpipes for the 3.0T Supercharged V6 engine! Now designed with a more premium V band connection, our V2 downpipes allows for changing of your exhaust done without having to buy a completely new set of downpipes every time.
All downpipes are the optimal sizing- a nice, perfect 2.5" sizing to maximize performance and exhaust flow.
Our small resonated downpipes are suited well for vehicles fitted with stock catalytic converters and those with CAP test pipes that want higher exhaust notes.
Our big resonated downpipes are best suited for cars with CAP test pipes that want to mellow down the tone to reduce rasp.
These downpipes are a great replacement for Audi enthusiasts that want more sound, more power & even for those that have their stock flexes fail.
Stock downpipes are smaller in size (only 2.25") and have prone to failure flex pipes. Our downpipes are bigger in size (2.5") and have better quality flex pipes that last longer.
These downpipes fit OEM cats, CAP test pipes, aftermarket test pipes and OEM style catback exhaust systems.

After going to CAP test pipes last year, the RASP was annoying as hell. I just installed these with the large resonator to kill the rasp and got exactly what I expected. The rasp is gone and there is zero drone.
If you have a raspy Stage 2+ B8.5 SQ5, I can highly recommend the following solution.

These downpipes are some of the highest quality exhaust and welds I’ve seen. They get rid of the rasp and give the perfect exhaust note for these cars. Very easy to install, highly recommend!!!
Big resonated mid pipes took almost all the rasp away and fit prefect with CAP test pipes and customer service is top notch
These downpipes are quality, the fitment, the function, all of it. I ordered the small resonator downpipes to help with the raspiness of my B8.5 S4 with the Valvetronic exhaust. I just orfrrrd the large resonator half sections to replace the small resonator as they didn’t provide quite enough control over the raspiness. I’m not even upset by having to order the large resonators.
Just installed CAP big resonated downpipes this morning on my ‘16 Q5 3.0t. Fitment and finish are superb. Exhaust note is more noticeable, but subtle. Vehicle is on stock cats, these downpipes, ECS Xpipe, OEM mufflers.
