Our obsession with this platform runs deep. Over the years, the CAP team has owned more than a dozen vehicles equipped with the legendary 3.0T supercharged V6 engine. We’ve tested and compared nearly every intake system available — always looking for ways to push performance further.
In 2018, we introduced our first intake (V1) as a high-quality, direct-fit alternative that let owners enjoy easy horsepower gains and a louder supercharger whine without overspending. Completely changed the look of my engine bay. Filter, inlet, velocity stack etc are all noticeably larger compared to my last intake. It is a genuine difference. From a looks standpoint alone it looks phenomenal. Performance wise it added volume and tone and revs more freely. The quality is the best part about this for me and the construction is solid. Overall the best intake on the market and my old one doesn’t even compare.
The V3 titanium intake from Can Auto Performance is unreal. The craftsmanship is beautiful and the install was smooth, but the real highlight is the sound—my supercharger screams now. It completely changed the driving experience and puts a smile on my face every time I get on it. Couldn’t be happier with this intake.
Already had a 3* CTS turbo unit. Did I need a 4"? No. Did it look insane and I had to have it? YES lol. Beautiful piece and transformed the look of the car. Most of my car is Cap products. 207 pulley, S6 Hear exchanger, chrome/black grille. Now the intake would like to check out the exhaust too.
Sounds amazing and looks so good - I can’t stop driving my car and looking in my engine bay. Stay away.
