THE BEST INTAKE FOR THE EA888 GEN 3 MQB PLATFORM.

After extensive development, Can Auto Performance (CAP) is proud to introduce the V2 4" Intake System for Audi and Volkswagen vehicles powered by the EA888 Gen 3 1.8T and 2.0T engines.

The factory intake was designed around production requirements, not maximum performance, sound, or visual impact. The CAP V2 replaces that restrictive system with a massive 4 inch intake engineered to increase airflow, reduce turbulence, and let your turbocharged engine breathe.

Every component was refined through 3D scanning, CFD optimization, flow testing, and multiple design revisions. The result is a purpose built MQB intake that delivers exceptional airflow, precise fitment, aggressive turbo sound, and a premium engine bay presence.

Two Premium Materials. One Massive 4" Design.

Choose the construction that best suits your build:

• Aerospace Grade Titanium: Lightweight, exceptionally strong, corrosion resistant, and engineered to help limit heat transfer. It is available in Ghost, a subtle brushed finish with an OEM+ appearance, or Phoenix, a vibrant burnt titanium finish that makes a bold statement under the hood, and a limited edition CAP X F87Maxxi Gold Titanium.

• Performance Aluminum: A durable, powder coated alternative that provides the same massive 4 inch airflow path in a robust and cost effective package.

Both versions use the same performance focused geometry and are built for long term reliability, even under demanding conditions.

Maximum Airflow for Your EA888

The CAP V2 was designed to remove restrictions throughout the intake tract, not simply replace the factory airbox.

• Massive 4" Intake Tube: The oversized tubing provides a high volume airflow path capable of supporting stock vehicles and high output performance builds.

• Largest and Highest Flowing Filter on the Market: A massive 7 inch performance air filter provides exceptional surface area and airflow. Engineered for both size and efficiency, it is the largest and most effective filter designed for the EA888 1.8T and 2.0T MQB platforms.

• CAPFlowMax Filtration Technology: Developed exclusively for this intake, CAPFlowMax balances extreme airflow with superior filtration. This allows your turbocharged engine to breathe freely while maintaining dependable protection and reliability.

• CFD Optimized and Flow Tested: The intake geometry was developed to deliver measurable airflow improvements backed by real engineering.

• Smooth Internal Transitions: Carefully finished interior edges help maintain consistent airflow and reduce unnecessary turbulence on the way to the turbocharger.

• Aggressive Intake and Turbo Sound: Hear more turbo spool, induction noise, and turbocharger character every time you accelerate.

Precision Engineered Fitment

We 3D scanned the MQB engine bay to maximize the available space and ensure every component fits exactly as intended. Multiple prototypes and design revisions were completed to refine clearance, mounting, airflow, and overall installation.

The system features:

• A heat shield with weather stripping to provide improved sealing against engine bay heat

• An integrated heat shield bracket system for a secure and clean installation

• A billet SAI filter bracket that provides a proper plug and play solution without zip ties

• CAP mounting hardware designed to reuse the factory mounting points

• OEM style mounting that helps prevent unwanted movement, vibration, and rattling

Built for Performance and Durability

Titanium offers an exceptional combination of low weight, strength, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance. It is built to withstand extreme conditions while adding an exotic motorsport inspired appearance to the engine bay.

The aluminum version provides the same massive intake geometry and performance focused design in a durable powder coated package.

Whichever material you choose, you receive the same carefully engineered airflow path, precise fitment, and attention to detail.

Performance You Can Hear and Feel

From the oversized filter to the massive 4 inch tubing, every element of the CAP V2 Intake was developed to help your turbocharger breathe more freely.

Expect sharper induction sound, louder turbo spool, and an intake system ready to support the demands of your current and future modifications.

Upgrade your Audi or Volkswagen with the intake engineered to set a new standard for the EA888 MQB platform.

Fitment Notice

This intake is designed for compatible Audi and Volkswagen MQB models equipped with the EA888 Gen 3 1.8T or 2.0T engine.

• For vehicles without a MAF sensor only

• Designed for all compatible models equipped with secondary air injection (SAI)

Please confirm your vehicle’s engine and sensor configuration.
