The factory tunnel brace can quickly become a problem when upgrading to a aftermarket exhaust system. limited clearance between the exhaust and factory brace can result in unwanted contact, rattling, and chassis-transmitted resonance caused by insufficient clearance.

The CAP Tunnel Brace is designed to solve this problem at the source, replacing the factory brace with a purpose-built design that provides increased exhaust clearance without creating unnecessary compromise such as altering hanger locations, or removing the tunnel brace altogether when installing an aftermarket exhaust system.
