The Canadian Auto Performance Crank Pulley for the Audi B8/B8.5 S4/S5 and C7/C7.5 A6/A7 is the upgrade your vehicle deserves and needs to maximize the power it makes while mitigating heat soak compared to bigger sizes. Engineered and tested to consistently make more power than its' counterparts in bigger sizes. When it comes to maximizing power safely through a crank pulley for the supercharged 3.0T, this crank pulley does so in a fashionable manner while reducing rotational mass and the parasitic loss caused by the OEM crank pulley.

Although stock Audis with the 3.0T supercharged V6 have sufficient power with the  stock crank pulley once upgraded to Stage 1 or Stage 2 Single pulley, to achieve the highest power levels and yield the best daily drivability, a crank pulley is a must. 

Known for being able to double output in power (from stock applications of 333HP to modified applications of over 670HP), the Audi 3.0T supercharged V6 engine is truly a master piece. Its Achilles' heel is undoubtedly heat soak caused by high intake air temperatures resulting from crank pulley sizes that are far too big for the stock supercharger to be efficient. Cars with a crank pulley bigger than what we recommend quickly become slower than even stock cars without any modifications due to heat soak and could potentially suffer from fuelling issues.

Upgrading your stock crank pulley to the CAP CNC machined billet aluminum (6061-T6) pulley will prevent power loss. The crank pulley is significantly lighter than the OEM crank pulley because it maintains an efficient lightweight design, better than other crank pulleys available on the market.
