Although known for its robust reliability, the Audi 3.0T V6 Supercharged engine has a very weak point: the stock catalytic converters. Especially on modified cars, the engine creates far too much heat for the catalytic converters to handle and thus end up melting which ultimately is the cause of a blown 3.0T V6 motor.
Upgrading from the factory 2.25" to the Ultimate CAP Exhaust Combo will increase the restricted pipes to a free flowing 2.5", which is the optimal size for maximizing power on the Audi 3.0T platform.
Other than the stock catalytic converters, the stock downpipes are known to be the only restrictive part on the otherwise good flowing Audi exhaust. Upgrading to the CAP 2.5" downpipes will ensure your vehicle has sufficient exhaust flow therefore maximizing engine power.

Canadian Auto Performance as a company all started from two enthusiasts not able to purchase a reliable set of test pipes for their B8.5 Audi S4s.
