Can Auto Performance Stainless Steel Downpipe – MK7 Golf R / 8V Audi A3 & S3 (AWD)
Can Auto Performance is proud to introduce our premium stainless steel downpipe, engineered for the MK7 Golf R and 8V Audi A3/S3 (AWD).
The factory downpipe significantly restricts exhaust flow, limiting your vehicle’s performance. Our CAP downpipe is designed to optimize exhaust flow with mandrel-bent 3.5” stainless steel tubing, smoothly tapering down to 3” for maximum efficiency. Our design allows for seamless installation while the smooth transitions ensure optimal exhaust gas flow, enhancing both power and sound.
Key Features & Benefits of Using Cap 2.0T Downpipe
- 3.5" Downpipe that tapers down to 3" to maximize exhaust flow
- 100% TIG welded & back purged
- Constructed of top quality 304 Stainless Steel
- Precision CNC machined flanges
- Bolt-on installation
- Faster turbo spool up & better throttle response
- Improved exhaust note
- Increased HP and torque
The removal of factory catalytic converters will trigger a check engine light. Software tunes are recommended to maximize the power gains.

Bought this for my Golf R after the factory downpipe started holding the rest of the setup back. The car feels much better through the midrange now and the exhaust note has a harder edge to it. Very happy with the result.
